Welcome to patio season

This year, the frost levels are so deep that Spring is certain to be days — if not weeks! — later than usual.

Use these tips to create peace of mind and make sure your restaurant is 100% ready to come out of hibernation and make the entrance into Patio Season!

  1. Catalog patio furniture. Make sure mice and moths haven’t made a home in your umbrellas and patio chair cushions. Make a list of what’s missing.
  2. Replace & order supplies. Need to replace a ripped cushion? Order special equipment for the outdoors? Do it!
  3. Make contractor appointments. If you have a patio project requiring concrete work or electrical work, call around for bids now. Don’t wait for warmer weather to start calling — they’ll be busy on everyone else’s patio!
  4. Plan ahead. Is your patio at the top of it’s game? If it’s not “there” today, it’s OK! Where do you want to be in 1 year? Break it down into baby steps, month-by-month and commit to being at the top of your game in 365 days.

You are the backbone of your neighborhood, and your patrons are ready to come out of hibernation!
