Located in Paris, Illinois, this backyard pool was designed as a place for relaxation and recreation for the homeowners and their guests. However, seasonal weather often limited how frequently the pool could be used comfortably.
The homeowners wanted a way to extend their swimming season while keeping the pool area clean and protected from the elements. At the same time, they wanted to maintain the open feel of their backyard during warm weather.

The retractable bays glide along low-profile tracks and nest within one another when opened, allowing the pool area to transition easily between open-air and enclosed environments.
